Frequently Asked Questions

What should I pack?

Ghana is located along the Gulf of Guinea and has tropical, breezy, balmy weather so you should prepare as if you were going to any other tropical island.

Do I need travel insurance?

Although we make our best efforts to avoid any issues, sometimes the unexcepted happens. You may need to cancel or reschedule your trip. Or maybe you have a medical emergency on your trip that your insurance does not cover.

Travel insurance is not required for the trip, but we recommend it. If you choose not to secure travel insurance, you will need to sign a waiver stating that it was offered to you but was declined. We can assist in acquiring travel insurance if you are interested.

If you are looking for authentic cultural experiences, meeting new people, eating local cuisine, while enjoying your stay in 4-star accommodations, then this is the trip for you!

How much money should I bring?

That is at your discretion; however, we suggest at least $400.00. As a reminder, lunches, dinners, and alcohol packages are not included, so these expenses should be considered when deciding what amount of money to bring. For reference, a meal typically begin at around $8.00 and can go up from there.
